The Power of Us

I thought to myself today, "gee, I like us".
It was only a moment later I kicked myself...
Resonating clearly, "nay, I Love us!".
Without you in my life, I'd have no wealth.

You inspire me to be better than I dreamt I could be,
And next to you, I only get stronger.
All of your support empowers me to try harder,
It's things like this that make me want to love you longer.

I have been blinded in the dark before,
But somehow you reached in and guided me to the light.
You're my silent hero always watching out,
Just like my very own shining white knight.

Without your love I never knew how sweet life could taste,
It was always about ME and what I had faced.

But in your arms all of my problems fade away,
And I feel the strength I need to fight another day.
